datey face

So I'm dating a friend. This is new to me, but I probably should've been doing this instead of just dating dudes till I realized they weren't my friends. Right? He's so incredibly sweet and makes me laugh and he's a smarty pants, too. :-) I'll have to tell you more later. I miss yous!

P.S. I must say that I love how he and I can just lay there all tangled up limbwise and just talk. And he LIKES (!!!) that I laugh too much. Take THAT, other guys who didn't like that about me! I'm pretty sure he'll be good for me. Really, really good.

    Normally at this point I’d make some cynical comment about how relationships always start out with such optimism, only to end in bitter acrimony – of possibly tragedy, and serious criminal charges – a few months later. But I won’t, because it’s nice to see someone cheerful for once, and I’d hate to put a dampener on their feelings.

    lol Believe me, I've had my share of restraining order action (slapping the on others, not being the one who's restrained). I know that the relationship is in the cotton candy, lovey dovey, make-others-sick-to-their-stomach stage. Thing is, he's leaving for school for a year in another country (actually, in YOUR country) in October. I can probably keep the happiness going till then or at least halfway till then. I just don't know what happens when he leaves. :-\
